Using the Sigma System
Now using the Sigma System is the most important thing to understand when playing the game Lux Pain. There are five main steps to using the Sigma System. In-game playing doesn't do a very good job of explaining what you're supposed to do -- the only way I learned this is from reading the pamphlet on the inside of the DS game case. Besides the MMV's failing to explain to you how to use the Sigma System, it's actually quite easy once you know how to do it, so here are the five steps. Keep in mind, these instructions are not for Residual Shinen, only for the Shinen of people.
- Step One -- The Sigma icon ( ∑ ) will appear on the screen. Click on it again.
- Step Two -- In the beginning of the game, the Ether Screen (the top screen) will flash with red circles. They will come and go. You can locate them on the bottom screen. Once you scrub away part of the screen, the yellow worms are what you are looking for.
- Step Three -- Using the stylus, rub the screen gently. You have to keep in mind that the worm will move around. It does not stay in one place. To find these in another manner, click the L button and click around on the screen. Most of the time, there will be two of these worms. The Ether Screen will only go away after you find all fo them.
- Step Four -- When you finally find it, click and hold the yellow 'worm' and after a few moments, it will disappear.
- Step Five -- Once you have completed the finding of these worms (which will have proper names that you get after finding all of the worms) you get to 'read' them.
